What hair accessories do brides wear?
Most brides wear one of four things: pearl or crystal pins dotted through an updo or loose waves, a decorative comb set above the veil or on the side of a chignon, a tiara for a formal gown, or a headband for a sleek low bun. The rule is one statement piece: pins with a plain veil, or a comb on its own, or a tiara with pins kept minimal. Pick it after the hairstyle is decided, and bring it to the hair trial.
Do pearl pins stay in fine hair?
Yes, if you set them into a pinned or braided base rather than loose hair: slide each pin against the direction of the hair so the bend grips. Eighteen pins is enough for a full scatter; most brides use eight to twelve.
Can I wear a tiara and a veil together?
Yes. Set the veil comb behind the tiara, slightly lower, so the tiara sits at the crown and the veil falls from behind it. For a headband, the veil goes underneath the band at the back.
