Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest time of year to get married?
In most regions, January, February and November are the real savings months: venues and vendors have open calendars and lower rates. May to October is peak season, with the highest prices and the earliest bookouts. Exact numbers vary by region, so always compare real quotes.
How far in advance should we set a wedding date?
Twelve to eighteen months is the comfortable zone: enough time to book a good venue and order a made to order dress without rush fees. Shorter is possible if you stay flexible on the venue and pick a faster dress path.
Does the wedding date really affect the dress?
Yes. A made to order gown usually needs 8 to 10 months from order to final fitting. This tool scores each month with the same engine as our dress timeline calculator, so you see whether a window is comfortable, tight or a rush before you commit.
Is a Friday or Sunday wedding worth it?
Often, yes. Many venues price Friday and Sunday below Saturday, and weekdays lower still. The trade-off is guest convenience. If savings matter more than the classic Saturday, it is one of the easiest levers you have.
