Why it works

  • Two dresses out of one: covered for the ceremony, bare for the party
  • Solves a church or mosque shoulder rule without buying a different gown
  • Slips on and off in seconds, no alteration and nothing sewn to your dress
  • Lace or puff tulle, so it can be the quiet option or the whole statement

A pair of sleeves that sit on the upper arm with an elasticated band rather than attaching to the dress. Covered for the ceremony, bare for the party, and a shoulder rule at a church or mosque solved without buying a different gown.

Lace or puff tulle, ivory or white, one size, nothing sewn and nothing altered. Free worldwide shipping.

Good to know

How do detachable bridal sleeves stay on?

They sit on the upper arm with an elasticated band rather than attaching to the dress, so nothing has to be sewn on and no alteration is needed. That is also why the same pair works on a strapless, a spaghetti strap or a sweetheart gown.

Will they work with my dress?

They work with anything that leaves the upper arm bare. Strapless and thin-strap dresses are the best match. A dress that already has sleeves is the one case they cannot help with.

Can I wear them for the ceremony only?

That is the main reason brides buy them, especially for a religious venue with a shoulder rule. Wear them for the ceremony and photos, take them off before dinner.

Lace or puff tulle?

Lace blends in and reads traditional. Puff tulle changes the whole silhouette and reads modern. If the dress is plain, the puff does more work.
